The inter-coat drier provides a precisely controlled environment for the drying of the component between application of coats by the robot.

After completion of all robot program cycles, the robot collects the first moulds from the inter-coat drier and transfers it to the final drier. It then coats the first wax pattern from the new batch on the wax conveyor, then deposits it on the vacant position on the inter-coat drier.

The robot then repeats this cycle with the second mould from each batch, then the third and so on, until all 20 units of the first batch are in the final drier and all 20 units of the second batch are in the robot/inter-coat dryer cycle.

For simplicity, this demonstration shows only the progress of three units in the first batch.
