ROBOT

On starting the robot cycle the robot will collect the first pattern and dip it into the slurry tank

The robot will manipulate to drain the wax according to the recipe program associated with the component part number and then insert it into a rainfall of refractory stucco in the appropriate applicator .

On completion of the first application cycle, the robot will hang the coated wax onto the inter-coat drier.

This will be repeated until all twenty waxes have been given the first coat. The selection of the slurry, stucco and the movements associated with the components are selected from the robot programs according to the part number entered at the time of wax loading.

After completing its passage though the inter-coat drier, each component is collected by the robot and processed again by the required application program, before return to the inter-coat drier.

The total number of coats will usually be between 6 and 10, with the slurry and stucco coats varying as necessary for the component's individual program.
