Drytech manufacture Rotary Slurry Mixing Tanks in a range of sizes from 300 to 1800mm diameter, designed for both hand and Robotic dipping applications.

Rotary Slurry Mixing Tanks are manufactured to meet the specific requirements of the Customer and the binder and filler materials to be used.

The Rotary Slurry Mixer comprises a welded mild steel base assembly onto which is fitted a helical worm gearbox driven by a totally enclosed, fan cooled, three phase motor.

The slurry vessel comprises a welded stainless -steel tank having external reinforcing bands. The vessel is mounted onto a drive turntable fitted with a flanged shaft having a captive drive key. The drive shaft is inserted into the hollow output shaft of the gearbox.

One or two stainless steel, adjustable mixing blades are supported in the tank from a rigid post assembly which is secured to the base frame.

A sheet metal or expanded mesh guard is fitted around the rotating parts of the tank to provide operator protection whilst allowing the heat generated by the drive motor to be cleared from the enclosure, thus minimising the heat transfer to the slurry.

The top of the enclosure is fitted with a welded polypropylene cover, profiled to the inside of the rotating vessel to provide an easily cleaned, fully guarded dipping aperture. A polypropylene tank cover is provided to protect the slurry when dipping operations are completed.

Mixing tanks may be fitted with "tank stopped" alarm signaling devices and water cooled blades are available with a range of chillers and controls for slurry temperature control.
