ROBOT PRODUCTION CONTROL For the Robot production of Investment Casting Moulds it is necessary to provide flexible operation, allowing for a number of different mould geometries to be manufactured within a production batch. To allow this flexibility Drytech Processing Limited have produced a suite of control software which will provide the automatic selection of a robot movement programme to match the part geometry and the relative slurry and stucco. A recipe of robot programme executions can be entered, with selection from a part reference number and conveyor hanger number. A production batch number is entered, together with the related hanger and part numbers and following a production start the manufacturing progress information is displayed for the operator in 'real time', archived to a choice of media or relayed to integrated production control software. The software includes multi level password entry and full "loss of power" data recovery.
