Rain tower stucco applicators are manufactured to meet the specific requirements of the customer and the range of refractory materials to be used. The rain tower stucco applicator comprises a base material hopper, a vertical conveyor which carries refractory material to the top and discharges it onto a vibrating screen. The material rains down via a base screen to the base hopper from where it recycles. This provides the recirculation of refractory material and the method of conveying can be either bucket, screw or vacuum determined by the quality and type of material -to be handled and the customer preference. The material rain section is enclosed on three sides and the front opening is fitted with exhaust slots to reduce dust egress to a minimum The vibrating top screen and the base hopper screen are of the drawer type, easily removed for cleaning. Rain tower units are generally manufactured from mild steel and are fitted with stainless steel base hopper and material screens. If required the units may be constructed such that all components in contact with the stucco material are manufactured from stainless steel. The material conveyor utilized in the rain tower would be fitted with mechanical or electronic speed control to allow the material flow to be set to the desired level. Removable material hoppers can be provided together with pre-programmed clean out cycle control to allow use with alternative grades of stucco material. Robot units may be fitted with a stucco contents monitoring device to provide low material level indication and robotic interface. Units are fitted with dust collection exhaust connection having balancing/isolation damper. All external surfaces of the applicator assembly would be treated with a primer coat and finally finished with a gloss coat of an approved colour. Drytech are able to supply and install a suitable stucco material filling and emptying system to suit specific customer requirements. |
